Betfair Poker Leaves New Jersey

Poker forum post’s indicate that Betfair’s New Jersey poker offer was shut down as of December 1, 2014, a year since its launch.

According to US Poker, Betfair’s closure of the online poker room was due primarily to its disappointing performance. 

The poker room posted a $0 in poker rake during October 2014, $1 in September 2014, and $50 for the first 10 months in 2014.

Betfair’s poker index page has reportedly been removed from the New Jersey website and an unnamed Betfair representative confirmed the closure with US Poker saying: “The move does not affect Betfair’s New Jersey casino site or any of its poker operations outside of the U.S.”
