BETVICTOR LAUNCHES A POKER COMMUNITY

Sunday October 21, 2012 : BETVICTOR LAUNCHES A POKER COMMUNITY

Cash prizes for free action

In an innovative marketing move, online poker operator BetVictor launched its new BetVictor Club Friday, setting in motion a community service which offers a free-play league with real cash prizes, members-only freerolls and money added tournaments.

The Club is open to all, subject to some simple joining requirements; applicants download the software, log into the Club to create a profile, and then have to score 80 percent or more in a qualifying quiz.  Don't worry; there are tutorials on the site embracing everything from bankroll management to poker game formats that will ensure passing is not a problem.

Once accepted, Club members can join the free play league and members-only multi and single table tournaments with over Euro 10,000 in cash prizes each month, enhanced with active community facilities like forum services.

BetVictor's poker chief, Andy Horne, said Friday: "With The BetVictor Club we wanted to bring poker back to the people, make it fun again but keep the competitive edge. So we devised the Club to bring poker to the community and the community element back to poker.

"There's Euro 10,000 free every month – no catches, no strings attached – plus bragging rights in the league and we'll be adding in more features in the weeks to come including an achievements based rewards system."
