Poker players join a ‘pool’ rather than a fixed table.
 
Following the Stan James plc announcement earlier this week that it is introducing speed poker through a new Microgaming product branded Blaze Poker, Microgaming has released more information on the product, which it formally launched Thursday.
 
The innovative features of Blaze Poker will allow poker players to join a ‘pool’ rather than a fixed table. When players fold a hand they are instantly presented with a new hand to play, ensuring no wait between hands.
 
A single Blaze Poker table is expected to average an impressive 300 hands per hour, which is the equivalent to four or five normal tables. Players can play multiple times in the same player pool.
 
Lydia Melton, Head of Network Games at Microgaming, claimed that the new product will create "…a user experience that is second to none.”
