Irish bookmaker acquires nine more betting shops.
 
The Irish bookmaking company Boylesports has furthered its expansion ambitions with the agreed acquisition of nine retail betting shops from independent bookmaker Bambury for an undisclosed consideration; the transaction now awaits the approval of the Irish competition authority.
 
Once the acquisition has been completed, Boylesports' retail estate will number 219 shops.
 
The Bambury premises are situated in Kildare, Meath and Dublin and will be refurbished and rebranded after acquisition, with the total of 31 staff remaining in employment..
