Alliance takes a step nearer to legalised Nevada online poker action

The Caesars Entertainment and 888 online poker alliance took a step closer to legalised online gambling in the state of Nevada this week by appealing for volunteers resident in the state and aged at least 21 years to come forward and assist it in a beta-testing program designed around its World Series of Poker real-money project.

“By joining the WSOP.com beta program, you will be among the first players to experience the WSOP.com online poker platform,” a statement from the company promised prospective testers.

Both Caesars and 888 have successfully negotiated the tough licensing process in Nevada aimed at making intrastate online poker a reality before the end of this year.
