New CEO For Paf

Wednesday May 28,2016 :  PAF NAMES NEW CEO

Six months after dismissing Anders Ingves.

The Board of Directors of Åland gaming company Paf has appointed Christer Fahlstedt (40) as its new chief executive officer effective June 1, 2016.

Fahlstedt, who has spent 12 years in the online gaming industry, most recently served as chief executive officer of betting software provider Betting Promotion Sweden AB, prior to which he was chief executive officer of Tain.

“Paf is a strong and amazing company in many ways. One strength is that Paf is successful both online and offline. When all the channels gradually merge, this will prove to be a great asset. I'm going to focus on the things that matter the most, and the user experience will be a top priority,” Fahlstedt said.

The appointment comes after an almost six-month search following the dismissal of Anders Ingves as the company believed it needed a different type of leader to drive international expansion.

“There have been good candidates in the process, but the entire board agrees Christer Fahlstedt is the person best suited for this assignment,” Jarl Danielsson, Chairman of the Paf Board said in a press statement.
