European Footballer of the Year Michael Owen is new Colossus ambassador
Colossus Bets, a UK-based online sports betting company, has announced a new partnership with 2001 European Footballer of the Year and former England striker Michael Owen.
The deal sees Owen becoming the brand ambassador for the company’s range of sports-pool options, including the GBP 10,000,000 Colossus promo.
Owen, whose 40 goals scored between 1998 and 2007 for the England national football team have only ever been exceeded by three other players, will provide his picks and advice on the Colossus as well as playing the weekly seven-leg, correct score football pool himself.
“Once I saw the Colossus Bets concept, I had little hesitation in getting involved – this is one of the most innovative and exciting betting ventures I have seen,” said Owen, who won the 2001 ‘European Footballer of the Year’ award and is currently a football commentator for UK-based TV channel BT Sport.
