Second executive departure following profit warning
 
Following a profit warning on the group's second half financial year ending 31 March 2012 and the resignation of chief financial officer Niall O'Kelly, WorldSpeads has announced the resignation of chief executive and major shareholder Conor Foley with immediate effect, who is said to be going off to pursue other interests.
 
The Group is hoping to secure the services of, and is in negotiations with, former WorldSpreads Ltd chief executive Roger Hynes, who is still a director with the firm.
 
Other changes will see Lindsay McNeile, non executive chairman of WorldSpreads and WorldSpreads Ltd, become executive chairman of both companies with Dominic Bacon, general counsel and group head of compliance, being appointed to the WorldSpreads board.
