Fox News reports that police in Sacramento, California shut down a copy store Thursday for allegedly hosting illegal internet gambling.

When police entered the premises they found 29 computers lining the walls of a room within Copy Planet, but no copy machines.

Investigators told the local press that players bought cards loaded with credits, with which they then gambled on the computers. They claimed that the illegal enterprise was earning its operators between $600 and $1,500 a day.

The police were tipped off by neighbouring businesses reporting excessive visitors at odd hours.
