Online gambling industry companies agree to partner in software development.

HTML5 games developer Core Gaming and internet gambling content provider SIS have announced a further tightening of their business relationship in the form of an agreement to partner up in software development.

The two companies, who are working together on several projects, began their association with the release, last week, of a suite of on-demand Virtual Racing games through Sky Vegas

The new game was created through a collaboration between SIS’s use of 3D HTML, the latest 3D browser technology, and Core Gaming’s HTML framework.

The two companies claim that  the racing games are a first-of-its-kind offering as they allow punters to bet on horse, greyhound and cycle racing whenever and wherever they want, due to the on-demand nature of the offering, optimised for play via mobiles and tablets, but also playable on desktop devices.

In addition, there are two quick-fire, seasonal racing games, based on Santas racing in two fun formats.

Justin Chamberlain, CEO of Core Gaming, said: “SIS has developed superb browser-based playouts which we have successfully integrated into our HTML framework, making them available on demand to players across any channel.

“We want to shake up the space with new ways for players to engage with virtual sports and new technologies for our operator partners to leverage better financial performance from these games.”

On-demand racing games, available in 2D and 3D, can be continually updated throughout their lifetime. Odds are available on all six runners in each race, with bets available including Win, Each Way, Forecast and Tricast before the player presses the ‘start race’ button.

Marc Thomas, head of product for SIS, said: “This is just the first in a number of unique mobile initiatives that we will bring to market together – delivering fast gameplay, low data consumption for users and a high return for our clients across mobile and online casino. These innovative new games offer an on-demand sports betting experience, with a casino mechanic, which provides operators with a real crossover product for their sites.”
