Online bingo firm Costa Bingo has hired the MWO agency to handle its advertising account, worth around GBP 10 million.
 
The agency has been briefed by the brand’s parent company bgo to create a TV campaign due to break in September, which is likely to be celebrity-focused, reports the publication CampaignLive.
 
According to Nielsen stats, Costa Bingo spent GBP 1.5 million on advertising with previous agency VCCP Blue, but claims that it will hike total marketing spend this year to GBP 10 million.
 
Alex Holt, the joint founder of bgo, said: "Costa has always been one of the leading bingo brands and with the appointment of MWO and the budget we are allocating to the brand campaign, we are confident that this will continue."
 
Last year Dreams, the bedroom furniture retailer, appointed MWO to handle its GBP 24 million advertising account.
 
In related news, bgo launched a new mobile site, bgo mobile, supporting iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
 
The company previously known as Mandalay Media launched its bgo online casino around six months back which carries an impressive gaming inventory from IGT, Sheriff Gaming, Microgaming and Net Entertainment.
