Poker Cash Processor Arraigned

Sentence still sealed on guilty plea
 
Another online poker e-cash processor, Darren Wright, has been arraigned before Judge Catherine C. Blake in a Maryland District Court, pleading guilty to conducting an illegal gambling business.
 
Wright was among prosecutions launched by Maryland enforcement agencies in mid-2011, along with David Parchomchuk and Ann Marie Puig.
 
Parchomchuk pleaded guilty earlier this year to lesser charges of running an illegal online gambling site and was sentenced to two years’ probation in return for his cooperation with the authorities on the operations of the BetEd sports betting site.
 
Wright's sentence is as yet not known.
