Darren “darrenelias” Elias cleaned up in the $10,300 buy-in No Limit Hold'em High Roller competition at this year's PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker this week, besting a stellar field of 296 hopefuls to take home $574,695, the lion's share of a $2.97 million prize pool that enabled the last 45 players to cash.

Daniel Negreanu, Bryn Kennedy, Isaac Baron, Steve O'Dwyer, and Ville Wahlbeck were just a few of the notable names playing in the event, with the latter suffering the misfortune of being eliminated just before the cash kicked in.

Elias entered the final table as the chip leader, facing Paul “Paolo69” Foltyn; Chris “ImDaNuts” Oliver; Matt “ch0ppy” Kay; Jonathan “MONSTER_DONG” Karamalikis; nandor82; Artem205; Sykoen; and Shhh00kem.

Elias and Shhh00kem faced off in the heads up, but Elias was too strong for his opponent, who had to be satisfied with a still-impressive second placing worth $430,650.
