Strategic sponsorship covers growing popularity in professional Darts
 
The recently launched Darts Web-Fans, a website designed for and run by fans of the professional sport of darts, has signed a sponsorship deal with UK betting and gaming firm William Hill.
 
The website features content on the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and British Darts Organisation (BDO) formats of professional darts including player rankings and interviews, previews and reviews of darts tournaments and competitions.
 
Under the terms of the deal, William Hill will be a major partner and sponsor of the website and will enjoy prominent branding and advertisements across the online property.
 
"We are delighted that a brand as strong as William Hill have chosen Darts Web-Fans as a partner and their decision to sponsor the website shows that we have aligned ourselves with the target market with which they seek to be associated with, namely you, our readers," said a Darts Web-Fans announcement.
 
William Hill has shown keen interest in the sport signing a betting partnership agreement with McCoy’s Premier League Darts last month and sponsoring the 2011 William Hill Grand Slam of Darts.
