Online Gambling Revenues Up In Delaware for May 2015

But poker disappoints with its first decrease in in four months.  
 
The latest numbers from the Delaware Lottery show that online gambling revenues were up again in May 2015 on a monthly basis, with the state's three internet gaming operators collectively reporting $133,697 – 1.2 percent up on April 2015.
 
Harrington Raceway was the worst in performance, delivering just $20,759 for a 26.4 percent monthly decline from the preceding month.
 
By comparison, online gambling revenue at Dover Downs hit $39,620 in May, improving on April’s results by 12.3 percent. The third operator, Delaware Park, recorded a 6.8 percent improvement to $73,316.
 
318 new signups were recorded by the three sites during May 2015, an encouraging rise of 51 percent over April 2015, when 210 players registered.
 
The poker metric was disappointing, recording the first decrease in four months at an overall $39,245 in revenue – down 19 percent on the preceding month despite a second month of shared player pool activity with Nevada.
