Poker ; Wsop Event 32 and 33 Updates


6/18/10 – There’s some big money to be had in event 32 – the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed, which kicked off Thursday afternoon with 568 entrants generating a prize pool of $2,669,600, from which the top 54 players will be paid a minimum of $10,171 and the winner will take home $667,433. Six-figure paychecks extend right down to the fifth elimination, ensuring good rewards for the top dogs.
 
Late Thursday evening the Day 1 battle was still raging, with 318 players still in contention and the top ten chip leaders led by Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliot and reading like a who’s who of international poker with aces like David Singer, George Danzer, Shannon Shorr, Eric Baldwin, Jennifer Harman, Christian Harder and Tom Marchese all in the mix.
 
Event 33, a $2,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Hold'em/Omaha contest also sported a VIP player list when it started Thursday, with the following all seen enjoying themselves as cards hit the air: Vitaly Lunkin, Annie Duke, Nenad Medic, Fabrice Soulier, Soheil Shamseddin, Erik Seidel, Lee Watkinson, JC Tran, Chino Rheem, John Juanda, Sorel Mizzi, Michael Binger, Dave Baker, Greg Raymer and Victor Ramdin.
 
By late evening Thursday in Vegas the 482-strong entry field was down to 333 with Chris Reslock  holding a 55,000 significant lead.
 
Notable eliminations included Daniel Negreanu and Antony Lellouche.
