Online gaming firm Everest Poker has been named Poker Operation of the Year at the annual eGaming Review Awards in London.
The company, which is the exclusive "felt sponsor" of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), received the accolade for the second year running.
It provides poker services to players in throughout the world and has grown substantially since its inception in 2005.
Bob Cahill, chief executive officer of GigaMedia's gaming software division, said: "We are honoured to receive this recognition for the second year in a row from the online gaming industry."
In related news, Zynga announced that it has released an application that will allow iPhone owners to play poker on their handsets.
The software can be linked up with Facebook so that gamers can play against friends who are logged onto the internet.
While there are poker games available at Apples' application store, none have the 4.8 million daily active users that Zynga offers.
