Evolution Gaming Extends Partnership with FanDuel
The US online gambling sector may only have opened within the last two years or so, but many software providers were quick to get their foot in the door and cement their place in the industry. One of the first to do this was Evolution Gaming. Evolution has positioned itself as the leading player for live casino games elsewhere on the net. So has Evolution Gaming become the top dog in the United States. This week, they cemented their status even further by rekindling their deal with the established operator, FanDuel.
Evolution Gaming Expands Its Agreement
The new agreement between Evolution Gaming and the US sportsbook/casino giant isn’t new. In fact, it builds on an earlier partnership agreed in 2020. That deal saw live dealer casino games added to FanDuel’s US casino section. The casino giant was already offering Ezugi games at the time. For many years, Ezugi did battle with Evolution as their chief rival. However, with Ezugi now owned by Evolution Gaming, expanding, and including Evolution’s array of games seemed logical. This original partnership only included FanDuel’s New Jersey enterprise.
The New Deal Explained
Under the terms of the new software deal, Evolution Gaming will gain the right to offer live dealer casino games at any US online casino operated in any state where FanDuel is active. There is already work underway to launch dedicated live casino studios in Michigan and Pennsylvania. However, the deal offers more than just live casino games.
Here Come the Slots and Table Games
The second part of the agreement struck between Evolution Gaming, and FanDuel will also allow for a new array of games to make their way to FanDuel sites. Much like they acquired Ezugi, the dominant brand also snapped up NetEnt. As NetEnt also owned Red Tiger Gaming, that company came along with it. By acquiring these brands, Evolution Gaming can now offer live dealer casino games, online slots and RNG (random number generator) table games to FanDuel casinos.
The New Evolution Gaming Deal Is Active Immediately
While there has been no official work on deadlines and dates, it is believed that the new terms come into effect immediately, as this is a continuation of an already existing deal, not an entirely new one. In short, US players at FanDuel’s casino and sportsbooks should expect to find NetEnt, and Red Tiger games and a wealth of Ezugi and Evolution live dealer titles as soon as the end of the month.
