Tablet devices used in Parliament flout the rules

A sign of the times in an amusing article run by The Telegraph, reports French deputés,  its members of parliament, using their tablet devices to stave off the boredom of long tedious Parliamentary debates.

Photographers in the French Assembly's press balcony snapped photographs of MP's, some who are Ministers, using their free access to Parliamentary WiFi to indulge in online shopping, play games and indulge in online poker amongst other unrelated Parliamentary activities.

A photography ban in the hemicycle is reportedly also being flouted by the same MP's, who are able to take snaps with their tablets furtively and unobtrusively, and are being described "like vulgar tourists".
