More Rumors On Fulltilt Player Payments

Saturday July 28,2012 : MORE RUMOURS ON FULL TILT PLAYER PAYMENTS

Could it be that owed players will have their money before Christmas….this year, that is!

There have been so many unfulfilled rumours this year about Full Tilt Poker players finally being paid that most industry people have become sceptical when YAFTPR (yet another Full Tilt Poker rumour) appears on the internet.

However, on Friday two industry publications – Poker Player Newspaper.com and Gambling 911.com – both claimed that a solution between Pokerstars and the US Justice Department had largely been hammered out that could lead to the acquisition of FTP and the payment of its owed players in the near future.

Writing in the Poker Players Newspaper, Wendeen Eolis asserted: "Without giving away the identity of a consistently impeccable resource, it is now safe to say announcements for public dissemination are in the works.  At this point I am ready to go out on a limb; FTP customers will see their monies well in time for Christmas shopping."

Over at Gambling911.com, Chris Costigan gave rather more substantial grounds for his belief that a solution was in sight, revealing that his publication's legal involvement in the issue gave it access to documents and information.

These had confirmed that, following the approval by the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York of a deal for Pokerstars to acquire Full Tilt Poker, "…all players owed monies by Full Tilt Poker will be receiving their funds with an announcement forthcoming directly from the US Attorney’s Office very shortly."

Let's hope that this YAFTPR turns out to be the real thing, and players unpaid for over a year will at last be made whole.
