Re-branding exercise may include a wider selection of online gambling
 
Quoting "sources close to the process," the online poker information site Online Poker Report suggested Monday that Full Tilt Poker's upcoming brand-change may not be too revolutionary…but it could include a widening of activity into Fulltilt online casino gambling.
 
"Details are still scarce, but the gist of the change is that FTP will be expanding its roster of offerings beyond poker," the website claims, acknowledging that detail on the changes is at present sparse.
 
OP Report opines that it makes sense for FTP owner Pokerstars-Rational Group to widen the gambling selection on Full Tilt, noting that the company's poker activity appears to have plateaued; it will help to outrun the bad reputation acquired under the previous owners; it may be useful in penetrating a legalised US market; and online casinos that are properly run, funded and have a good player base are usually successful.
