GAMBLING.COM DOMAIN ON THE AUCTION BLOCK

Media Corporation Plc offers up a famous online gambling domain
 
The UK-based advertising network and online gaming group, Media Corporation Plc (Media Corp), has announced that it intends to offer up its gambling.com domain for auction via the domain auction site Sedo GmbH.  Media Corp recently released a strong set of results.

 
Justin Drummond, CEO of the group said, “Whilst the Group has significant cash reserves, we have recently seen a number of exciting acquisition opportunities in the online gambling and online advertising space. The successful sale of www.gambling.com will give the Group significant financial resources to pursue these acquisition opportunities.”
 
Gambling.com which was originally founded in the pioneering days of online gambling by South Africa's Graeme Levy, is likely to sell for a comparable price to that achieved by slots.com.  The Bodog franchise purchased slots.com earlier this year for a reported $ 5.85 million.
