GoalMillions Launches

And issue a slew of shares to un-named former consultant
The owner of the now defunct Purple Lounge online operation, has launched a new online football based skill game following a successful beta trial.
Media Corporation Plc's latest venture is one of two games under the GoalMillions umbrella offering a GBP 1 million jackpot.  Quick Fire requires players correctly pick the six quickest teams to score while Golden Goals the correct selection of the six teams to score last.  Players have a choice of 48 teams from a selection of 24 fixtures across the English and Scottish football leagues. In the event that there are multiple winners for either game, the respective GBP 1 million prize will be shared equally between those players.
Draws to win the jackpot will be made each week from players correctly selecting that week's Quick Fire and Golden Goals teams from 19 April 2013 until the end of the season, with the final draw being on 5 May 2013.
Media Corp is seemingly picking up the pace and coming out of a tumultuous period recently contracting with Boxing Channel Media Limited to supply betting services to its TV channel, BoxNation
In related news, the company announced the issue of 10 000 000 new ordinary shares as "the second of a two-part milestone payment" to an un-named former consultant for services provided to the company.
Phil Jackson, chief executive officer of Media Corp plc said: "These developments represent a positive step forward for the Company following its decision to dispose of its non-core assets.  Media Corporation is now focusing on commercialising existing intellectual property and developing further new technologies specifically in the gaming arena."
