A poker player who goes by the online moniker of GrampaJeff has won $138,000 playing no-limit hold'em.

The gamer took part in the fourth event in the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) on Friday and took the largest share of the $600,000 prize pool.

A total of 800 players took part in the competition, which had a $300 + $22 buy-in.

The tournament was hosted by Vitaly Lunkin, who came first in the $1,500 no-limit hold'em event at the World Series of Poker earlier this year, earning $629,417.

Other players who made significant cashes in event four of the FTOPS were mightypirate, Aaron Bartley, mrcall912 and dbones6, the article noted.

These participants earned $87,000, $67,500, $49,000 and $37,000 respectively.

Last month, Phil Ivey took down the largest pot ever won in an online cash game.

He pushed all-in and was called and by John Juanda, but it was Ivey who triumphed with a set of tens, earngin $687,000.

However, this record was soon beaten by Urindanger whose pocket aces beat Tom Dwan's pocket tens, winning him a massive $723,000.
