Harmonised tax rate for across gaming sectors
 
An agreement between the European Commission and the Greek Finance Ministry will see state-owned betting agency OPAP apply a flat online and slot machine player winnings tax of 10 percent, said Reuters.
 
The new agreement set to be implemented January 1, 2013 is a step towards curbing long running online operator complaints on the different tax levels levied on online and slot machine player winnings.
