GAMES DEVELOPER SWITCHES TO HTML5
Concept Gaming converts 32 online games to more versatile HTML5 format.
Online gambling games developer Concept Gaming has revealed that it has converted 32 of its Flash-based gamed to the more versatile HTML5 format. The games include Multi-Hand Blackjack, Roulette, Slots and Keno.
A company spokesman said in a press statement Wednesday that Concept has taken a digitally convergent approach, whereby each HTML5 game can be delivered as a desktop, mobile and mini game. Each game automatically adapts its UI depending on the environment it is launched into, he explained.
Games also auto detect higher resolution screens such as Retina, launching a high quality version or a downgraded version for older screens, and many of the games play in both Portrait and Landscape on Mobile with a simple rotation of the mobile device, he added.
Delivery of Concept Gaming products is via direct platform integration and also the NYX OGS system.
Concept Gaming director Jim Preedy said: "We now have some excellent HTML5 game frameworks, which we can continue to build on."
Preedy hinted at an interesting new project without giving full details, commenting:
"But the most exciting development of all, is our partnership to install gaming content on to the International Space Station. We also have Mars within our sights, watch this space."
