Not enough support For Illinois Gambling Bill

Saturday June 2, 2012 : CULLERTON PULLS ONLINE GAMBLING BILL OFF THE ILLINOIS AGENDA

Not enough support at present

Hopes that the Illinois legislature might be sufficiently progressive to pass the online gambling legalization bill introduced recently by Senator John Cullerton  were dashed this week when it transpired that the Senator had removed the online gambling provisions from the agenda, citing a lack of current support and the likelihood of a veto clash with state governor Pat Quinn.

It is not known when…or if…the measure will be re-introduced.
