More Details on Italian Mafia Gambling Case

Friday April 1,2016 : MORE DETAILS EMERGE ON THE ITALIAN ONLINE GAMBLING BUSTS (Update)

Websites named, but operators claim no association with organised crime.

More details – specifically the online gambling websites involved – have become available on the Italian police "Operaton Jamm Jamm" action against alleged organised crime elements in Salerno

It appears that the criminal activity in Italy revolved around the use of online gambling sites through internet cafes.

Police reports have identified sites that were investigated and shut down as five offshoots of the Betaland brand licensed in Malta, along with betaland.com; pkgambling373.com and pkwildpoker.net; betfaktor.com; planetwin365.com and dgbpoker.com.

The Austrian-based SKS365 company, parent group of Planetwin365, has been quick to deny any association with criminal activity and has pointed out that its website is legally licensed by the Italian regulator AAMS. Betland parent group OIA has similarly denied any wrongdoing or criminal association.
