ITF TERMINATES BETWAY SPONSORSHIP DEAL

As new anti-match fixing policy takes flight.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has reportedly terminated Betway’s three-year sponsorship partnership as an extension to their anti-match fixing and sports integrity policy.

“The ITF took the decision to end the Betway partnership early as part of a policy decision to cease having betting sponsors,” Dave Haggerty,president of the ITF, commented.  “We strongly condemn any form of online abuse of players at any level of the game. Our aim is to protect players from these sorts of abuses”.
