Jim Veevaert Joins DoubleDown Casino as Vp of Games

Gaming industry expertise and creative talent to drive DoubleDown game strategy
 
Jim Veevaert, a 20-year gaming industry veteran, has joined IGT’s DoubleDown Casino as vice president of games.
 
Veevaert has held executive positions at Zynga, Jerry Bruckheimer Games, Microsoft and Vivendi/Sierra Entertainment.  He served as vice president over the "Half-Life" and "Counter-Strike" franchises, as well as executive producer of the popular video game "Halo 3".
 
In his new role, Veevaert will oversee the long-term game strategy for DoubleDown Casino on Facebook and mobile devices. He will also champion product initiatives through the entire life cycle from ideation, to development, launch, and ongoing enhancement.
