Koreans Arrested for Online Gambling

Seven men will be deported after their criminal punishments
 
The police in Manila, Philippines report that seven Koreans have been arrested this week on charges of operating an illegal online gambling facility inside a condominium building in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
 
The suspects were identified as Jae Hoon Hwong, Yong Yeom Kim, Sung Hoon youn, Hyeok Choi, Yong Beom Cho, Jin Dong Kim and Jun Min Heok.
 
Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David said the suspects are currently detained at the Immigration Jail in Bicutan, Parañaque City while undergoing preliminary investigation.
 
They are facing charges for violating the anti-gambling laws, and face deportation after their criminal sentences have been served, he said.
 
This is the second occasion in months that Koreans have been detained by police in the region on charges of facilitating online gambling.
