LADBROKES EXTENDS DARTS SPONSORSHIP
 
Online and land gambling group now the title sponsors of the Ladbrokes World Series of Darts Finals.
 
The UK online and land gambling group Ladbrokes has extended its sponsorship of the UK Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) to become the new title sponsors of the Ladbrokes World Series of Darts Finals at Glasgow’s Braehead Arena later this year.
 
Earlier this year Ladbrokes inked a darts sponsorship deal as title sponsors of the Ladbrokes Sydney Darts Masters.
 
The new sponsorship includes the best eight players in the World Series rankings determined by six international competitions in Dubai, Auckland, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney and Perth.
 
Barry Hearn, PDC Chairman, said: “The World Series of Darts is growing year on year, and the inaugural Finals last November was a thrilling tournament which culminated in an outstanding final between Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright. Given the ever-increasing standard of darts worldwide, we can look forward with excitement to November’s tournament.”
