Your alias and avatar will be shown only to you and not the other players. Ladbrokes Poker has a patent protection on it's newly launched anonymous poker tables.
The idea behind playing at an anonymous table is that other players won't have any history on you and your playing style and focus rather on the present. If another player tags your alias or makes notes on you, they will be unable to view them.
Kate McLennan, Head of Poker at Ladbrokes Poker, said, “We are really excited about this launch. Never before have poker players been able to play without other players knowing who they are.
This brings an added element to the game for people whose playing style maybe recognizable. For those new to the game, it is an opportunity to try some different moves without getting a reputation because players will simply never know who they are playing against.”
