Mike Sexton Announces He Will Play 1 Million WSOP Event

Veteran poker broadcaster Party Poker pro and player Mike Sexton (64) has announced that he is to play in the million dollar buy-in Big One for One Drop tournament in aid of the third world water charity One Drop at this year's World Series of Poker.
 
“The Big One for One Drop is the most highly anticipated poker event in history and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” Sexton said in announcing his participation in the field, which is to be capped at 48 players and has already signed 42.
 
“I'm hopeful that millions more will be donated from viewers as a result of the media exposure for this tournament, which will be far and away the most for any poker tournament ever,” Sexton added.
 
“All poker players, whether or not they're participating in this tournament, should be thankful to Guy Laliberté for organizing this very worthy event."
