Netplay player numbers up

New casino players up 14.9 percent on Quarter 4 2010
 
Interactive gaming firm, NetPlay TV reported a strong end to 2010 and a continued improvement in performance into the first quarter of 2011 in a trading update presented this week.
 
The firm said it will continue to work to maximise the number of players acquired through television, whilst its conversion and retention strategy continues to improve player loyalty and lifetime value.
 
Other results mentioned include:
 
–     Active casino players 21 332 up 21.9 percent on Q4:2010
–     New casino players 17 978 up 14.9 percent up on Q4:2010
–     Supercasino acquired 22 percent of its new players via the i-phone application which accounted for 12 percent of its active players during the period.  An iPad version is due to be released by the end of Q2 which will further strengthen its mobile presence.
–     Full year 2011 trading anticipated to be in-line with expectations
 
Overall, the company reported that 2011 has started well and it is confident that it will continue to deliver a solid performance for the full year, in-line with market expectations.
