Monday November 25 ,2013 :  SOCIAL NETWORK CASINO-STYLE GAMES:

Spanish online social gaming firm Akamon launched VideoSlots on Facebook.  The offering comprises multiple slots with different themes that unlock on attaining pre-defined achievements and levels. The Facebook launch is expected to be followed by a mobile app launch along with at least three new multi-platform launches. 

Gaming technology supplier Aristocrat launched its first Facebook app since acquiring casino publisher Product Madness late last year.  The social app titled Heart of Vegas features free-to-play versions of several of Aristocrat's slots.

Online gambling games developer BetSoft Gaming released the first title in its ambitious new Slots3 Interactive series of socially oriented 3D video slots.  The new game WhoSpunIt? is a five reel, thirty line game drawing from the latest social gaming technologies to create an entirely new breed of entertainment, its developers claim.

Caesars Interactive Entertainment in collaboration with Elvis Presley Enterprises launched the Elvis Backstage bingo room on Facebook offering Bingo Blitz powered by Buffalo Studios.

Tel Aviv-based game developer diwip reported that its $2 million investment in Slots Club, launched in beta format in June on Facebook, is attracting plenty of action.  The new game, developed with the company's experience with Best Casino on Facebook, offers players a selection of 40 pay-line, themed slots with all the usual features such as free spins and bonuses, optimised for social gaming through several sharing facilities. Diwip plans a mobile version of Slots Club via the Unity engine.

Seattle-based games developer FlowPlay entered the competitive social casino sector with an immersive, free-to-play MMORPG casino product branded Vegas World. 

Facebook slot players have a host of new games to select from following the launch of City of Lights, Foxy Dynamite, Madame Monarch, Secrets of Da Vinci, Jazz, Night of the Wolf, Shadow Diamond, Gypsy, Oceans Glory, Bear Mountain, Cat Prince, Pasión y Fuego and Lady of Hope on High 5 Games' social network casino, High 5 Casino.

International Game Technology released Monopoly Plus, through its relationship with Hasbro, on its DoubleDown social casino on Facebook

Privately owned Canadian social games developer Opzi launched a suite of games titled Real Money Slots by Opzi Casino, powered by Betable into the UK market.  Opzi's flagship product Opzi Casino is a social online casino offering free-to-play games for the iOS and Android platforms.  Real Money Slots is Opzi's first game to offer real-money play.

London-based social gaming firm Plumbee released its first in-house developed slot titled Thumbelina's Forest to its Mirrorball Slots Facebook Application, followed by QuickSpin developed slots Sinbad and The Three Musketeers.
Seattle-based RealNetworks launched a free-to-play and real-money social product titled GameHouse Casino and GameHouse Casino Plus, featuring over a dozen or so titles.  The company also acquired popular social casino games developer Slingo Inc. for a $15.6 million consideration.

Brazilian gaming company SlotoPrime released sixteen new game titles bringing to 48 the number of games in its portfolio across six rooms on the Facebook social platform.  Titles include Tales of Arabia, Wicked Hood and Pimp My Money amongst others developed by Portable Slots

The Manx Entertainment Group, a Taiwanese-based developer, launched its social casino offering in beta mode at luckylanegames.com featuring multi-player social casino games on a proprietary built-in social networking platform.  The platform's five games carry themes covering the 1920's Atlantic City Boardwalk, 1930's Shanghai, and modern day Monaco and are titled Boardwalk Blackjack, Rio Slots, Shanghai Secrets, Bubble Tea Slots and The Baccarat Yacht.

Club Casino is another new social casino-style offering launched on Facebook by the developers of Trophy Slots.  The suite offers blackjack, video and multiplayer poker, solitaire and slots, with each game providing players the ability to customise their options such as avatars and bet per line or card.

Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment’s software arm, Win, added a new slot to its popular "Slots Craze" range.  Garfield and Friends joins other social gaming faves like Casper the Friendly Ghost, Sherlock Holms and Count Dracula on Facebook.  Slots Craze has recorded over a million downloads on the social gaming giant – clear evidence of its popularity with users. .

Although Zynga has distanced itself from the prospect of real-money gambling, its recently acquired development studio Spooky Cool Labs has launched the free-to-play Hit It Rich: Casino Slots on Facebook.  Hit It Rich: Casino Slots leverages Spooky Cool Labs' Wizard of Oz license along with comic book brands Blondie and Beetle Bailey which strongly theme several games.

Microsoft Studios, Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Pipeworks Software have combined to launch the latest console poker game “World Series of Poker: Full House Pro”, which is offered free to X-Box members.

Scientific Games Corporation subsidiary MDI Entertainment LLC created an instant game with a "2nd Chance" opportunity to win a monthly, multi-state progressive jackpot of $ 1 million or more called MONOPOLY Jackpot.
