NFL Week Three and Week Four Preview Games

NFL Week Three and Week Four Preview Games

Week three in the NFL is almost over, and it was a great week to say the least. With three overtime games and some upsets, Sunday turned into the most excited day of the week, particularly for those who placed any bets. That being said, there is still one more game on Monday that should be entertaining.

Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks  (Bet On Game)

Monday night will feature the Seattle Seahawks as they battle the Green Bay Packers. Both teams currently sit in third place in their respected divisions with 1-1 records. This game is pretty important according to many football betting sites for both teams as they want to stay in the race for first place.

After an impressive week two performance, the Packers are looking to use their deadly pass rush to subdue the Seahawks. However, playing in the loud Seattle stadium could pose communication issues for the Packers, therefore creating problems among Rodgers’ offense. That being said, Rodgers had a great week last week and improves his season yard total to 522 yards for three touch downs. Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb have been Rodger’s best wide receivers so far so look for them to make a great impact come Monday night. Recent addition Cedric Benson is learning the Packer offense fairly well, and has tallied 99 yards. However, for Benson to truly be an important figure on the Packer’s offense, he needs to start rushing for some touchdowns.

Seattle will definitely come out of the gate with a bang. Rookie quarter back Russell Wilson has been utilizing his offensive weapons in Marshawn Lynch, and has rushed for a few yards himself; 48 yards to be exact.

It will be great game to watch as the Packers are a passing team, while the Seahawks prefer to play on the ground. So far this season the Packers have tallied 322.5 yards per game while the Seahawks have only racked up 284.5 yards. Any NFL expert will have it listed as a very close match, so make sure you stay tuned on Monday night.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills

Next Sunday there will be an AFC East showdown between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. Buffalo had a great win last week against the Cleveland Browns, but they may have a tougher time with the Patriots says many sports betting sites.

Although the Patriots have gotten off to a rocky start, Tom Brady has been playing well. Throwing for 522 yards and three touchdowns thus far, he is not playing awfully. Once again, tight end Rob Gronkowski has been Brady’s go to receiver with 135 yards and two TDs. New comer Brandon Lloyd has also worked himself in well into the Patriot’s notoriously difficult system with 129 yards receiving. Overall, Brady has thrown 388.5 yards per game; now he just needs his defense and running game to ship into shape as well.

The Bills have been having a slightly more successful season. They have a 2-1 record and sit in first place in the AFC East. Although they won this week, they lost their leading receiver C.J. Spiller to a shoulder injury. The week before they lost Fred Jackson, so the Bills future is not looking very good. That being said, Fitzpatrick has been playing well and has similar numbers to those of Tom Brady, with 581 passing yards for eight TDs. The Bills are more of a rushing team, especially now without Spiller and Jackson. They rush for 178 yards per game, significantly more than the Patriots 126 rushing yards per game.

This game, like the Packers/Seahawks game will be very close. As a division game, the Patriots need to win in order to keep up with the Bills in the standings. Bet on all NFL games From The USA.
