Nutblocker Closes

Saturday May 12, 2012 :  POKER EDUCATIONAL WEBSITE CALLS IT A DAY

Farewell to Nutblocker

After some eighteen months of operations the poker educational website and magazine Nutblocker.com has called it a day, citing "innumerous technical difficulties."

The site was the brainchild of internet players Andreas “Skjervoy” Torbergsen and Tom “LearnedfromTV” Chambers, whose goal was to improve players' knowledge of Pot Limit Omaha and Mixed Games, encouraging interaction and providing expert articles and interviews with leading players.

In March this year the company launched Nutblocker Magazine at just under $30 a copy, and this has now been shut down.

In a website notice this week, the founders advise: "All of our customers…have been fully refunded for all purchases and it is our hope that no one will feel ill-treated as Nutblocker changes its direction.

"We will leave the Magazine and other content for free on the site as a token of good faith and hopefully return as a central community for the further exploration of Pot Limit Omaha and Mixed Games."
