Online Poker Numbers Down This Week and Year

Cash game liquidity down 10 percent y-o-y as traffic tumbles 5 percent.
 
The independent online poker monitor Pokerscout reports that last week was not the best for online poker, with traffic tumbling 5 percent, most of the top 10 sites seeing numbers decline, and total cash game liquidity down 10 percent year-on-year.
 
The monitor draws particular attention to suspected Distributed Denial of Service attacks that have impacted Pokerstars, Betfair, Unibet and TonyBet almost simultaneously.
 
Although Pokerstars has not confirmed the reason for disruptions to its services, the company has taken down its servers for restarts several times over the last week, presumably to beef up its defenses, Pokerscout reports.
