ONLINE POKER SECTOR: MIGRATIONS/SHUT-DOWNS

List of all the different software changes and shut downs of online poker rooms for the first quarter of 2013

iPoker Network

  • Coral Poker completed its migration from the Ongame network to Playtech's iPoker Network.
  • Betclic Everest’s Everest Poker and Betclic Poker migrated to the iPoker network.
  • Betfair switched from Ongame to Playtech's iPoker Network.
  • Peak Interactive N.V.’s Sun Poker.com website on the iPoker Network abruptly shut down.
  • Dusk Till Dawn poker club will move its online operation to the iPoker Network as a result of a three-year agreement signed with Genting Alderney
     

Merge Poker Network:

  • PDC poker closed and migrated its players to Aced Poker also on Merge.
  • RPM closed its virtual doors.
  • Hero Poker shuttered migrating its players to one of the flagship sites on the network.
  • FeltStars closed down.

MPN (Formerly Microgaming Poker Network):

  • iGAME Malta's poker sites iGame, 24HPoker and Pokerihuone migrated to the Microgaming Poker Network.

Ongame:

  • RedBet Poker to migrate from the IGT Network to Amaya Gaming's newly acquired Ongame by early December.
  • Åland Penningautomatförening (Paf) exits the Spanish online poker sector this month and will close its internet poker room on the Ongame network.
  • Pokerroom.com, along with its online poker forum Pokah, has closed its virtual doors and departed the Ongame network.

International Poker Network, powered by Boss Media:

  • Pokerkings.com will shutter its site on February 28.

Tain:

  • Cardbet.com and its four white label skins Suomi Vegas.com, Mets Poker.com, M8 Poker.com and Pro-Factory.com migrated to the Tain platform.


Winning Poker Network:

  • Black Chip Poker migrated from the Merge Network to the Winning Poker Network.
