PartyPoker Removes Withdrawal Fees

Monday August 3,2015 :  Partypoker is excited to announce that players will no longer be charged fees for withdrawing their funds on most payment options on partypoker.com. From August, the processing fee has been removed from almost all withdrawal options including bank transfers as well as MasterCard and Visa cards.

partypoker is on a mission to bring back poker to the people and as part of this we are committed to continued consultation with the grassroots poker community. Feedback highlighted what a contentious issue withdrawal fees are for partypoker players so the poker team has made it their mission to get these removed.

This move is another step on partypoker’s Poker for the People journey which began earlier this year. Other popular changes have included a revamped loyalty store making it easier for recreational players to reach levels as well as bringing back cash for points.

Golan Shaked, Director of Games, said:

“Listening to the players is central to our ongoing strategy. When we started our Poker for the People campaign, withdrawal fees and our loyalty store were the two hottest topics raised at our live player forums. Our poker team has been working hard and we’re really pleased to have addressed these two issues but there’s still work to be done.

We will continue to look at ways to eliminate withdrawal fees from the small number of payment processors who currently charge a premium for their services. Finally, we need to expedite the withdrawal process by shortening the time it takes to verify player winnings and identity. Our customers can look forward to seeing further significant improvements in the near future.”

Withdrawal fees from almost all methods on partypoker.com have been removed as of 1 August 2015. For more details check out the partypoker blog or head over to partypoker.com. ‘Like’ partypoker on Facebook or follow @partypoker for all Poker for the People updates.
