partypoker gears up for $3m+ GTD Monster Series from 28 October – 4 November 2018. 144 events slated across simplified two-tier format. partypoker has announced the full schedule for the fourth installment of its Monster Series online poker tournament festival.
Running from 28 October to 4 November 2018, the forthcoming series guarantees $3.4m in prize money across 144 tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 – $33. That guaranteed sum represents a 36% increase on the July 2018 edition, as partypoker gets set to host its richest Monster Series of the year.
The latest online festival sees all events fall within either ‘Low’ or ‘High’ buy-in categories in a move designed to simplify the series format, while maintaining its broad appeal to low-to-mid-stakes players. Both Sundays of the series guarantee $627,500 apiece in prize money, with a pair of $200k Gtd, $33 buy-in 8-Max PKO events opening and closing the festival on 28th October and 4th November.
As always, various promotions will run alongside the series to provide players with even greater value throughout their respective campaigns.
Spinning the “Monster Wheel” or completing “Monster Missions” can secure players a seat in the $20m GTD MILLIONS Online, while additional prizes await all final tab lists of the $200K GTD 8-Max event on 4th November, with a MILLIONS Online seat going to the winner.
This year’s MILLIONS Online is the single largest US online poker tournament in history, guaranteeing $20m in prize money and at least $1m for the top four placed finishers.
Cash game fans meanwhile can take advantage of the daily “Monster Hour” running throughout Monster Series, to boost their weekly Cashback score.
partypoker Managing Director, Tom Waters said: “The original Monster Series came about as a response to player feedback, who told us they were keen to compete in a series of tournaments that offered a range of low-to-mid-stakes buy-in levels.
Partypoker has increased total guarantees yet again as well as optimizing the structures, with our ‘smooth’ structure now applied to all of the NLH events, meaning the Monster Series will now deliver the same playing experience as our popular Power Series MTTs.”
