Partypoker LIVE is joining forces with The Baha Mar Casino to support victims affected by the recent Hurricane Dorian that devastated parts of Grand Bahama and The Abacos islands, situated northwest of Baha Mar’s home in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Taking place on partypoker’s global dotcom client at 20:00 (BST) on Sunday, October 13, 2019. A special $100 buy-in ‘Hurricane Dorian Online Charity Tournament’ will award a total of eight prize packages. Winners are invited to the Caribbean Poker Party held annually by partypoker LIVE, according to the following payout structure:
PartyPoker Tournament Payouts
- 1st – 3rd place: $16,000 Main Event package. This includes Caribbean Poker Party Main Event buy-in ($10,300), 9 nights’ stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for two people, $1,400 room credit plus $2,000 for expenses.
- 4th – 8th place: $6,000 ‘lite’ package. This includes Caribbean Poker Party Mini Main Event buy in ($1,100), 9 nights’ stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for two people, $600 room credit plus $2,000 for expenses.
All buy-ins collected from the online poker event will go to a dedicated Hurricane Dorian charity in support of victims impacted by the disaster.
Firmly established as a standout on the annual poker calendar, the Caribbean Poker Party will once again take in the stunning Baha Mar resort in The Bahamas, and promises to attract some of the biggest names in poker between November 15-24, 2019.
Festival highlights include the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl, set to make its partypoker LIVE Bahamian debut, along with the $25,500 Super High Roller, $10,300 ‘MILLIONS World’ Main Event and $10,300 High Roller. See here for the full schedule.
As part of their relief efforts, partypoker LIVE is also collecting funds on behalf of the American Red Cross's Hurricane Dorian Appeal via a dedicated JustGiving page. So far the live tour is 5% of the way to its $50,000 target, and anyone wishing to donate to the cause can do so here.
