Regulatory body covering its bases
 
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission  has said in a statement that it notes reports on the charges of illegal gambling activity against individuals connected with the AGCC-licenced Pinnacle Sports and as such has begun a special investigation into Pinnacle Sports Europe Limited to "ensure that the licensee is operating in accordance with approved operating procedures."
 
Pinnacle Sports Europe Limited is a relatively new AGCC licencee having received certification in May 2012.  It holds a Category 1 eGambling licence which allows it to solely accept wagers from customers based in the United Kingdom.
