Easter bunnies and Easter eggs abound
Online gaming software provider Playtech launched its latest seasonally-themed online slot titled "Easter Surprise" this week.
The 5-reel, 20 pay line video slot and a scratch card game of the same name have been simultaneously released at Playtech online casinos to coincide with the upcoming Easter season.
The video slot features an Easter rabbit as the Wild symbol – set amongst green fields and blue skies. When five Easter rabbit's appear in any of the active pay-lines, the player receives a jackpot payout of 10,000 coins. Three brightly painted Easter eggs constitute the other symbols which are followed by high value card symbols from Ace to Ten decorated with green ribbons.
Two special symbols feature in Easter Surprise. The "Easter Surprise Logo with a gift" is the scatter symbol and when two or more of these symbols appear anywhere on the reels – scatter payouts are made. Three or more of these symbols will trigger free spins games and if three or more scatter symbols appear again on the reels, free spins games can be retriggered.
The Bonus Logo of “Easter eggs in a basket" is the bonus symbol. Three or more consecutive bonus symbols anywhere on an active pay-line, starting with the left most reel, activates the Easter Egg bonus game. Players have to select eggs from the basket brought by the Easter rabbit. The number of eggs that a player will have to select is the same as the number of bonus symbols involved in triggering this feature.
The video slot also features Auto Play, which allows up to 99 spins without manual intervention and the Playtech gamble game where players can stake their payout earned after any spin in a double or quit attempt where they have to select the color of the next card dealt. The total double up limit in this game is Euro 5 000.
The Easter Surprise scratchcard is played in a three by three matrix and the aim is to get three rabbits in a row, a column or diagonally. Scratchcard bets range from Euro 0.10 to Euro 100.
