New CEO For Playtech

Audit and Risk Committee Chairman takes on new position
 
Software provider, Playtech Limited has announced the appointment of David Mathewson (63) to the position of Chief Financial Officer from 25 May 2011.
 
Mathewson’s is currently a Non-Executive Director at Playtech and Chairman of its Audit and Risk Committee.
 
A Chartered Accountant, Mathewson previously held executive positions with UK merchant bank Noble Grossart Limited, Tracker Trust plc, Rodime (Sportech plc) as well as serving on the board of NASDAQ.
 
Current incumbent, Shuki Barak will step down after serving five years in the position and will continue in an operational role for Playtech, leading commercial negotiations.
