Poker: PokerSite.org Plans Massive Redesign

11/25/09 – PokerSite.org, which is one of the largest and most trafficked online poker portals in the world, has announced plans to complete an extensive redesign and expansion in the coming weeks. This update, code named PokerSite.org Version 2.0, will incorporate a new, sleek site design, additional poker site reviews, and an expanded poker strategy section.

Visitors will be pleased to find a new, easy to use navigation system, larger text, and sharper graphics and images. Also, the site will feature a new and improved Spanish section, which will help Spanish-speaking players find the best online poker sites.

Every since the site’s launch in mid 2008, PokerSite.org has been a leader in the online poker world, providing honest, unbiased reviews of the biggest online poker rooms. Over 100,000 visitors have used the site’s resources to make educated choices of poker rooms, poker tactics, and more.

Version 2.0 will update and expand the poker site reviews, as each review will now include information on the poker rooms’ reward program, customer support team, and deposit/withdrawal options. These three additions will help readers get an even better feel for each online poker room.

The new version of PokerSite.org also promises to resurrect a defunct poker news section, which hasn’t seen a new news article since April 7, 2009. Owner Mike Wittmeyer had this to say about Version 2.0:

“PokerSite.org has suffered from some serious neglect over the past eight months. My team has worked very hard to ensure that the new site will answer the needs of online poker players, and provide every visitor with a positive experience.”

We were able to obtain a top-secret list of the new additions to the site. Visitors can expect to find new poker site reviews of Carbon Poker, CD Poker, Only Poker, Paradise Poker, Sun Poker, and Absolute Poker. And of course, PokerSite.org will provide visitors with the best deposit bonuses for each online poker room.

Seven card stud junkies will be pleased to hear that PokerSite.org plans to add a thorough seven card stud strategy section, which will cover topics including starting hand selection, board texture, bluffs, and value bets. The previous version of the site focused almost exclusively on Texas Hold’em strategy, but players can expect to find a much wider variety of strategy including sit and go, Omaha, and mixed game tactics.

Final additions include an updated USA poker page, which will analyze the latest Internet gaming laws, and a redesigned home page, which will better display the site’s content and provide simple deep navigation.
