Players won more than $11 million compared to the last edition of popular online poker tourney
Judging by numbers just released by Pokerstars, this year's edition of the popular Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) tournament was one of the biggest and richest gambling festivals of the year, with millions in prize money won, a packed schedule, and separate buy-in levels designed to suit all bankrolls.
SCOOP 2013 awarded a record-breaking $75,585,435.05 to become the biggest online poker tournament series of all-time, the online poker operator claims, congratulating in particular major winners like MLiz and nicofellow for winning the Low and Medium level Main Events for $189,015.34 (after a five-way chop) and $472,209.35 (after a four-way chop) respectively, and to High level Main Event winner Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, who banked $1,096,200 .
Other major winners included players Exclusive ($986,908.25); cmontopdeck ($639,684.73) and WhooooKidd ($555,383.50).
The total payout was over $11 million more than previous SCOOP winnings.
