NEW REAL-TIME SPORTS BETTING GAME FROM FLOWPLAY

Fantasy sports-type ‘Ready Set Bet game’ is free to play.

Browser-based virtual world technology and multiplayer casual games developer, Flowplay, has launched its first real-time sports betting game “Ready Set Bet” within its flagship social casino Vegas World.

The free-to-play game allows players to place bets on any drive in progress during all live professional football games, affording them the opportunity to win a virtual payout after each completed drive.

A ‘lighting bets’ feature encourages players to bet on rapid gameplay situations that pop up throughout a game such as a fourth and short ruling or a challenge on the field.

"The current landscape of fantasy football in the U.S. allows for weekly, at most daily options to place sports bets. Armchair quarterbacks everywhere now have a third option to make proposition bets in real-time as they watch games live," said Derrick Morton, chief executive officer of FlowPlay.

Ready Set Bet currently offers gameplay betting on football and baseball. Players can join at any point during a live game to place their bet as innings or drives take place. Bets are paid out with virtual currency and points are determined throughout the game, with the player with the most points at the end of the game declared the winner.

Ready Set Bet joins FlowPlay’s growing sports betting portfolio comprising All Star Daily Fantasy, 5 Card Draft and Vegas World Sportsbook.
