Shane Warne joins Bollywood movie star in showcasing celebritygames.in.
 
Cricket legend Shane Warne is combining two of his passions in his latest appointment – cricket and online poker.
 
In a deal with the owners of Indian Premier League cricket team Rajasthan Royals, Raj Kundra and his movie star wife Shilpa Shetty, Warne has agreed to promote the couples latest venture, a real-money online poker site branded celebritygames.in.
 
The site enters an increasingly competitive Indian market and will rival Essel Group’s PokerNation.com and Delta Corp’s recent acquisition, Adda52.
 
The Kundras Satyug Gold Pvt Ltd company backs the online poker site, which offers players an opportunity to play real money online poker on the same table with Bollywood stars, prominent cricketers and major businessmen.
 
Kundra has some experience with the online space, operating Stockrace.in, a real-money stock exchange-based game. He has recently withdrawn the real-money element, and the site now focuses on free-play and prize rewards…still providing a useful promotional cross-over tool for the online poker offering.
